Air Ductors

Air Ductors are designed to supply large volumes of air at pressures of 1 PSI or less. These units use compressed air to entrain additional atmospheric air in order to provide the combustion air. These units are ideal for air/gas mixers such as the Pyronics Flomixer, where a combustion air blower is not available.

Flanged Mixing Tees

Flanged mixing tees are air/gas proportional type mixers with very low pressure drops. They can supply a 14 to 1 turndown ratio and can accept air flow rates between 7 m3/h and 3,171 m3/h. They have flanged connections for the air inlet and mixture outlet and come in sizes 1 ¼” to 8”.

Flomixers

Flomixers are venturi type proportional mixers that deliver the mixture at relatively high pressures to the required burner/s. Air inlet pressure of approximately 14 kPa will provide a mixture pressure of 5.5 kPa. They have flanged connections and are easily installed. The available air inlet and mixture outlet sizes are 1” to 4”.

High Blast Mixers

High Blast Mixers are compact venturi mixers which use compressed air as the primary source of oxygen and atmospheric air as the secondary source. The air/gas mixture produces a sharp, well defined, clear blue flame. These mixers, combined with a suitable burner nozzles, are ideal for applications such as ladle heating, die heating, crucible heating, flame heat treating, flame annealing and other spot heating applications. They are supplied in sizes 1” to 4”.

Hijectors

Hijectors are venturi type mixers, similar to the High Blast Torch, except they do not use compressed air. They use atmospheric air and high pressure gas (up to 245 kPa) to provide a suitable mixture pressure. A mounting boss enables this unit to be easily fitted to a furnace or appliance. They are supplied in sizes 1” to 4”.

Lojectors

Lojectors are venturi type mixers designed to be used on low to medium pressure gas. They can be fitted with a suitable burner nozzle to provide a hand held torch or mounted directly onto a furnace or appliance. They are supplied in sizes ¾” to 6”.

Midget Mixers

Midget Mixers are compact venturi type, proportional air/gas mixers. The overall length of the mixer is between 63 mm (for the smallest unit) and 140 mm for the largest unit. The fuel to air ratio is easily set once constant gas pressure is available from the gas regulator. A gas throttle cock is fitted to the mixer to adjust the flow of gas through the mixer. These mixers can provide between 3,500 and 120,000 BTU/hr. They are supplied in sizes ¼” to 1”. These mixers are widely used on pilot burners and similar applications.

Multiflow Mixers

Multiflo mixers are proportional mixers which come with a patented air adjuster which allows you to change the throat area of the mixer as your burner port area changes. This eliminates the need to change rods, jets or sleeves in your mixer when a situation arises where you need a larger flow rate for an increased burner port area or smaller flow rate for a decreased burner port area. They are supplied with air inlet sizes 1” to 3”.

Pilotjectors

Pilotjectors are small capacity atmospheric mixers which are suitable for many different applications. They can be used with atmospheric burners such as the ribbon type, or pipe burners, small hand held torches – once fitted with a suitable burner nozzle. They are supplied with mixture outlet sizes 1/8” to 1/2".
